Just a few days back I traveled in the Sleeper Class compartment of a train from Delhi to Lucknow ... Have jotted down some observations from that venture of mine...

The Journey

Aloof in the madness of this hustle-bustle,
As I sit and observe this niche world,
It boils my beliefs as if in a tussle,
Elucidating the fissure between the implied and the real...

The diversity of this vicinity,
Could put even the most renowned writers in confusion,
To bring justice to any description,
Of the similarity here in every variety..

Some spots of chewed paan,
Accompanied by the litter and the oil,
And others which is simply not able to comprehend,
Owe the existence of the colored passage with a unique blend..

Here , some erstwhile indifferent souls meet,
within the next second , they exchange a warm greet,
And are then overpowered by the enigma of the situation,
Transforming them into an incessantly chatting generation..

A constant music is perpetually thrown in,
through the alternating highs and lows ,
of the octaves created by the natural humming and churning,
of machine coupled with an array of men,
stacked up in identical rows..

This place sure has an aura enveloping it,
Where all the socio-cultural barriers are discarded,
and all the rifts go in vain..
Its neither a temple, nor a church or a mosque..
Just a Sleeper-Class compartment from a train !!

hey everyone....

I would not give an intro of myself ( which usually is the main content for the first post of a blog ) , but just want to iterate that am using the space below to express some of my thoughts penned in words....
